TANIA SAGGERS-CLARKE

Tania is from Gisborne, New Zealand and now calls the Pilbara home. She is based in our Hedland office and manages the Community and Corporate Services team.

In addition to her Senior Management and Leadership experience she has a BA in Social Sciences, Graduate Diploma in Business Management, Diplomas in Business, Occupational Health and Safety, Human Resource Management and Quality Auditing.

In her role she looks forward to opportunities for innovation in the community and corporate team that provides improved services and supports to Nyiyaparli people.

KRISTAL WYLLIE

Kristal is originally from New Zealand, arriving in Australia in 1998 and calling Port Hedland her family’s home for over 16 years.

She loves the outdoors and so the Pilbara is the perfect place for her enjoy the beautiful environment and get out camping and travelling.

As Office Manager her role is to manage the front office team and coordinate all the many tasks that are required to ensure the busy Hedland Office runs smoothly. 

 

SORAYA DANIEL

Soraya grew up in the Cape York- Northern Peninsular area in a community called Bamaga (at the most northern point on the Australian continent) however has called Hedland home for over 8 years.
Mothers tribe – Peidu -Erub Island Totems – Fridget bird (wada) & Dabor (Spanish Mackerel) Fathers tribe – Argun -Badu Island, Totem – Thupmul (stingray)

Soraya has lived in rural communities for years and has significant experience working in the field, whether it be Federal or Local Government or community controlled organisations.

She has a Diploma in Leadership and Management, a Diploma in Project Management and is currently in her 2nd year studying a Bachelor of applied science in community development at Curtin University.

PAYAL PANCHAL

Finance Coordinator

Originally from India, Payal has lived in Australia since 2006 with her family and is now based in Perth as our Finance Coordinator.

She has lots of experience in the administrative and financial field including a role in the accounts department at the University of Western Australia and the centre administrator at Curtin University.

Her role here at KNAC is coordinate financial administration matters, asset administration, complete reporting requirements and liaise directly with KNAC Financial Management consultants, Palisades.

YVETTE POCOCK

Yvette is from New Zealand from the Te Arawa Waitaha tribe, now calling Hedland home. She enjoys spending time with her family on weekends, exploring the Pilbara and all the beauty it has to offer. 

Yvette comes to KNAC as the Financial Wellbeing Coordinator with over 20 years of financial experience living all over the world, including London, France and Scotland. 

She has a strong passion for financial literacy education and supporting members with their financial goals. Empowering members to self advocate is such a rewarding part of what she can provide in her role. 

PRISCILLA MCKENZIE

Home Support Program Officer

Priscilla is from Broome and its surrounding areas and she has cultural and family connections within the Jabirr-Jabiir, Yawuru, Nimunburr and Djaru/Kija tribes.

She has a Diploma in Aboriginal Primary Health Care and a Diploma in Mental Health. She has previously worked as a Homeless Outreach Support Worker and Housing Team Leader at Centacare Kimberley in Broome.

Her skills and experience make her ideally qualified as one of KNAC’s Home Support Program Officers.

JASMIN BARUNGA

Jasmin is a Thalanyji woman from the Onslow region in the Pilbara. She has been with KNAC for more than 7 years and is currently one of our member support officers, assisting members to complete trust applications and checking supporting documentation ready for submission to Mutual Trust. 

When Jasmin isn’t assisting our members, she enjoys spending time with her family and playing netball. 

MITZI-LAINE MCNEIL

Mitzi has vast experience in aged care, palliative care, disability support and now community service. 
Throughout these roles, she has been driven by a deep passion for making a positive difference in peoples lives and supporting their individual needs. 

She is excited to join the team at KNAC as a Member Support Officer and contribute meaningfully to the empowerment and growth of our members and the community. 

When not at work, you can find Mitzi spending time outdoors, hiking, camping & fishing. She is very passionate about the conservation of animals and the environment, this aligns with her role as Member Support Officer with KNAC.
