In February this year, Insignia Financial announced that it intended to sell Australian Executor Trustees (AET).

Insignia Financial has now confirmed that it has signed a share sale agreement with Equity Trustees which will acquire the AET business.

We are pleased that the AET business is being acquired by a highly complementary and aligned owner in Equity Trustees, which shares AET’s fiduciary heritage and commitment to clients.  

As two of Australia’s leading professional trustee companies, AET and Equity Trustees each have over 130 years of experience in providing trustee, executor and estate services. The combined expertise and experience of AET and Equity Trustees will ensure our clients and stakeholders continue to receive exceptional professional services and support.

There is currently no change to the business operations of AET, its management structure or employees. The AET teams who currently support you will all be transitioning to the new owner. 

The agreements in place between you and AET are unaffected by the sale and AET and Equity Trustees are committed to working closely with you to continue to deliver quality service and support.
