About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager of Karlka Commerce, you will be responsible for all KFW QLD day-to-day operational aspects of this highly successful, and fast-growing business as well as driving its continual, sustainable evolution with a strong focus on organisation culture, safety and employee engagement.

This role will develop growth strategies, business planning and budgets and oversee the effective implementation of these strategies.

Key Accountabilities
  • Development of business planning and budgets
  • Development of stakeholder relationships with business community including Government, mining, pastoral, construction and local govt
  • Building relationships with KNAC (parent company) and intercompany relationships with subsidiary companies.
  • Regular reporting to the General Manager – Karlka Commerce Manager and KFW QLD Board
  • Ensuring positive engagement with internal and external stakeholders
  • Implementing appropriate financial management and reporting
  • Maintaining ISO and Supply Nation Certifications
  • Building internal stakeholder relationships that enable KFW to leverage opportunities from KNAC Native Title Agreements. Ensure work health and safety requirements are adhered to
  • Communicates the importance of respecting Cultural protocols.
About You
  • Proven record at a management level in the fencing sector or similar;
  • A proactive, ‘hands on’ and empowering leadership style, capable of building a cohesive, inclusive and high performing team environment;
  • A commitment to quality, safety and operational excellence;
  • Keen commercial acumen;
  • Well developed customer and supplier engagement skills; and
  • Strong operational management skills
