We are delighted to announce that KNAC has entered into a partnership with Jatu Clothing & PPE.
Jatu are a 100% Aboriginal owned family business that has been operating for 10 years. The family are Nyangumarta people from the Pilbara who started their business from humble beginnings from their living room and now occupy warehouses of some 1800sqm with an office and showroom in Perth.
We originally approached them to deliver the Nyiyaparli Living Language Project merchandise that we distributed at the AGM and we were delighted by the quality of the products produced as well as the manner in which they as a family business operated.
We are particularly pleased that they have a real focus on producing quality materials that are significantly more environmentally friendly than traditional merchandise– from the materials chosen right through to the printing process. This allows us to not only support local Indigenous business but to do so whilst taking better care of country.
Jatu will continue to assist us in the production of NLLP materials but will also be producing staff and Director uniforms, PPE, NAIDOC materials and much, much more!
We look forward to continuing this great new relationship into the future.
