We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Nyiyaparli member to join our Sales Team as a Business Development / Sales Support trainee and support stakeholder engagement, client growth and brand presence across key markets.

Malaga, Perth WA.

 

The Role

As a Business Development / Sales Support Trainee, you will work closely with the National Sales Manager and other senior staff to engage with current and potential clients, identify upcoming project opportunities, and contribute to the development of new business relationships. This is a client-facing role ideal for someone looking to begin their career in sales or business development within the construction and infrastructure industry.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting stakeholder outreach via phone, email, meetings and events

  • Attending client meetings and industry functions with senior staff

  • Building awareness of upcoming project opportunities through desktop research and client conversations

  • Maintaining and updating CRM records and contact databases

  • Assisting with the preparation of capability statements, introductory materials and project pipelines

  • Developing a strong understanding of our service offering and target client base

  • Supporting follow-up on previous tenders, EOIs and project conversations to identify next steps

  • Upholding the company’s values and contributing positively to team culture

This is a development-focused position. Structured training and support will be provided to assist the successful candidate in building confidence, communication skills, and commercial understanding. 

Your Profile

This role is suited to someone early in their career, with minimal prior experience but a strong willingness to learn and grow. You will be confident, professional, and eager to build meaningful connections with clients and internal teams.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Professional presentation and a proactive attitude

  • Strong attention to detail and time management

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Competent with Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • A genuine interest in sales, construction, infrastructure or client engagement

  • Current driver’s licence

  • Able to travel interstate and within WA

  • Nyiyaparli Identified (ORIC)
