We are pleased to share with members the Fortescue Marsh Nature Reserve Joint Management Plan, featuring the beautiful artwork of Hester Faye Stream (dec) on its cover.
The drafting of the plan has been a mighty team effort led by Nyiyaparli community members, the Fortescue Marsh Interim Joint Management Body, DBCA and KNAC with vital input and support from the KNAC Board, key stakeholders, and DBCA specialists.
It is an important document that will guide how DBCA and KNAC work together in the joint management of the Reserve.
Thank you to all community members who provided input into the plan’s development. Many thanks also to Mel Pepper and Grace Patorniti (from DBCA) who spent countless hours pulling together all the information collected to put into the plan.
We look forward to providing updates on its implementation.
