Jess grew up in the United States and moved to Australia in 2022, settling in South Hedland before starting work with KNAC a few months later.
She has a Masters of Science in Library and Information Science and previously worked as an academic librarian. Her background in information management and her passion for information architecture and knowledge management play a key role in he current position as the Information and Technology Manager.
Her role is to coordinate technology services, providing onsite technology support to end-users as well as overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of KNAC’s information infrastructure, systems, and services.

Tom is an experienced IT Support Technician with a decade of experience covering support, analyst, and management roles across state and local government. He is passionate about delivering reliable IT solutions that make every day work easier.
After spending the past six years in the Pilbara, Tom has developed a deep connection to the region’s strong sense of community. Outside of IT, he’s an avid sports fan with a particular love for Cricket and AFL. A dedicated musician as well, Tom performs around the Pilbara and has begun releasing original music. His involvement in the local music scene has led to a close friendship with KNAC Ranger and musician Noel Taylor, whose insight helped shape Tom’s interest in KNAC.
Grounded in both community and creativity, Tom is eager to contribute positively to the Pilbara and its rich history.
JAKE DUNN
Information and Records Officer

Jake is our new Information & Records Officer and will support KNAC with document control and assisting in data storage techniques.
He has a background as a designer in civil and structural engineering, predominantly working on Defence projects providing technical drawings. In addition to this, Jake also undertook document management and assisted with project management.
In his free time, Jake enjoys riding motorcycles, building computers, brewing home brew as well as travelling and camping. He is also very keen on snow sports, having learnt to ski and snowboard from a very early age.
