Angela grew up around the Flinders Ranges in South Australia before living and working at the Defence Precinct in the outback desert area of Woomera, SA for over 18 years. She is now fortunate to be living and working on beautiful Nyiyaparli Country in Newman.
Her role as General Manager of Karlka Commerce is supported by decades of working in government, corporate and small business and by gaining experience in business management and operations across a variety of industries.
Having lived and worked in remote locations she has a clear understanding of the challenges of delivering services in the Pilbara. She has also previously worked for Aboriginal Corporations helping her to greater understand some of the complexities of the sector and has taught her to continuously learn and listen to community to guide her to deliver the KNAC objectives.

Steve was born in South Africa but moved to Perth in 1998 and Perth is where he still lives and works as the General Manager of Karlka Fencewright.
He started in the fencing industry in 2009, working as a fencing labourer and since then took on many roles including Fence Installer, Project Supervisor, Project Manager, Sales Representative, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager and National Business Development Manager.
The progression of these roles has allowed Steve to develop a rounded understanding of all aspects of the fencing industry and of Karlka Fencewright which made him the perfect candidate to take on the role of General Manager in 2023.

Jessica is the Newman Operations Manager, responsible for keeping the door open to our Newman members and ensuring the smooth running of the satellite office.
Growing up in a small remote town in South Australia she has since lived in many places including K’gari, the world’s largest sand island! She loves being outdoors and so exploring the Pilbara region by bike, foot or car makes her happy. Living in Newman gives her the opportunity to meet people and learn about the local culture through engaging in local events.
She has a Bachelor’s in Fashion and Sustainability and is passionate about social and environmental issues.

Toby is a Djabugay, Gudjala and Pitta Pitta man from North and West Queensland and will be working with KNAC as the Community Partnerships Liaison Officer in Newman. He is currently involved in Native Title where he is from and hopes to share his knowledge and skillset with other Traditional Custodians from Australia.
Toby has a strong interest in family history research, having completed his own family maps/trees, which gave him insight into his own history. He hopes to encourage other groups to write their family trees down for future generations, so our history is not lost.

Lindsay joins KNAC as the Newman Projects Support Officer. Growing up in Newman, Lindsay is excited to learn about this new role and contribute to the community that she grew up in.
In her spare time, she enjoys being creative and trying new things and looks forward to applying these skills and more, to her support role in the Newman office.
