Expressions of interest are now being sought for suitably experienced Aboriginal leaders living in regional Western Australia to serve on the State’s Aboriginal Cultural Centre Steering Committee.
Positions are available for up to six members for an interim term of office of 12 months with the possibility of extension.
Successful applicants will need to have experience working in the interface between government and Aboriginal communities; or experience working in major projects or initiatives that engage with Aboriginal cultural knowledge.
Remuneration and allowances for Steering Committee community members is determined by the Minister on the recommendation of the Public Sector Commission.
