About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Home Program Support Manager to lead KNAC’s Home Support Program and Home Ready Program.
Reporting to the General Manager Corporate and Community Services, you will lead a small team of Home Program Support Officers while driving the strategic development, delivery and continuous improvement of member-focused housing initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about community development, program management and delivering positive outcomes for Aboriginal communities. You will work closely with members, staff and external stakeholders to strengthen housing support services and identify opportunities to expand and enhance KNAC’s home programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Home Program Support team, providing coaching, supervision and performance support.
Oversee the delivery and continuous improvement of the Home Support Program and Home Ready Program.
Develop and implement strategic and operational plans aligned with KNAC’s Strategic Plan.
Manage program budgets, reporting, compliance and funding requirements.
Build strong relationships with members, service providers, funding partners and community stakeholders.
Lead the development of new initiatives that improve housing outcomes for Nyiyaparli members.
Monitor program performance and use data to drive continuous improvement.
Represent KNAC at community meetings, workshops and relevant external forums.
Essential Requirements
Certificate IV or higher in Community Services, Financial Counselling, Program Management or related field.
Demonstrated experience in a leadership or coordination role in a community-based program.
Experience managing, supporting, and supervising a team of diverse staff
Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate programs.
Experience working with Aboriginal communities, particularly in remote or regional areas.
High level of data literacy and ability to use spreadsheets and reporting tools.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
Current WA C-class driver’s license.
Desirable
Understanding of Nyiyaparli cultural values, protocols, and community relationships, and how these shape respectful engagement and service delivery
Experience in funding proposals and contract reporting.
Experience facilitating community events or educational activities.
