KNAC Strategic Plan 2025-27

After many months of in person and online member consultations, KNAC Board of Directors is pleased to release the Karlka Nyiyaparli Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (KNAC) next 3 year plan (2025-27).

This high level plan recognises the core purpose and foundations of the corporation whilst embracing the current and future growth in opportunities to serve our members and support their self determination. Our members made these priorities very clear in our community consultations, online forums and feedback.

The focus on supporting opportunities for current and future members, whilst maintaining our proud history of leading practice in native title and heritage management and protections was made loud and clear. In particular, taking care of young people, language, Nyiyaparli history and culture were emphasised- as well as taking care of each other. Members confirmed their ongoing support for clear, transparent and strong governance as well as the growth in partnerships that support improvements to the health and wellbeing of our community, particularly as part of our work with the Nyiyaparli Trustee. The importance of our presence in Newman and the availability of information and support to all members no matter where they are located was also clear feedback.

Thank you to all the members who met with us in Perth, Newman, Hedland, Karratha and online as well as those who submitted feedback online and via email. This plan is designed to simply and clearly capture our focus and commitments over the next three years and will be discussed further at our upcoming AGM in November. This Board direction will now inform the development of further resources regarding each Strategic Pillar for the information of members and implementation by staff. We look forward to sharing these with you in the new year also!
