Karlka Nyiyaparli Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (KNAC) is the Registered Native Title Body Corporate for the Nyiyaparli People, representing approximately 450 members across the east Pilbara region.

Position Purpose
We are seeking a Member Support Officer to join our Corporate & Community Services team in South Hedland.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role focused on providing high-quality support to KNAC members. You will assist with member enquiries, Trust applications, and service access, while also supporting fleet and asset coordination to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

This role suits someone who is organised, community-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide frontline support to members, responding to enquiries professionally and respectfully

  • Assist with Trust applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies

  • Maintain accurate records, documentation and reporting data

  • Coordinate referrals to internal teams and external services

  • Support community events, meetings and workshops

  • Manage fleet bookings, servicing and asset registers

  • Coordinate contractors and maintenance activities across properties

  • Contribute to a collaborative, culturally respectful workplace

Skills & Experience
Essential:

  • Experience in customer service, administration or community support

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, administration or community support

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders

  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and systems

  • Intermediate user proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and systems

  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach

  • National Police Check

  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)

  • Current Driver’s Licence

Desirable:

  • First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) or equivalent.

  • Mental Health First Aid Certificate.

  • CPR Certificate (HLTAID009) or equivalent.
