About Us
Karlka Nyiyaparli Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (KNAC) is the registered native title body corporate for the Nyiyaparli People with approximately 450 current members.
The Nyiyaparli People are the Traditional Owners of approximately 36,684 square kilometres of land and waters in the East Pilbara region, including the Aboriginal communities of Jigalong and Parpajinya, several pastoral leases and significant mining operations. Locations with the Determination Area are places of particular significance to the Nyiyaparli people, including ceremonial sites, songlines, permanent pools and natural resources.
Position Purpose
Reporting to the GM Corporate & Community Services, the Technology Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting KNAC’s technology environment.
This role provides on-site Level 1 and Level 2 ICT support to staff, manages relationships with KNAC’s Managed Service Provider (MSP), and works proactively to minimise downtime, improve service delivery and strengthen systems, processes and documentation. The role requires a self-starter who can work with minimal direction, take ownership of issues, and proactively manage technology services in a fast-paced environment.
The role does not have direct reports, but holds significant responsibility for service coordination, vendor management, onboarding and offboarding, asset management and continuous improvement across technology services.
Your New Role
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 ICT support to KNAC staff
Coordinate and manage the relationship with KNAC’s Managed Service Provider, including SLAs and reporting
Monitor ticket volumes, response times, resolution times and user satisfaction
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of users and system access
Set up, configure and maintain hardware, software and peripherals
Maintain ICT asset registers, licences, warranties and procurement records
Develop and maintain ICT documentation, policies and user guides
Support building security systems inclu,ding swipe access and cameras
Assist with technology projects, upgrades and continuous service improvement
Ensure ICT practices align with WH&S, security and compliance requirements
About you:
We are looking for a proactive, self-starting, and service-focused ICT professional who enjoys serving as the on-site point of coordination between users and service providers.
You will be comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision, communicating with non-technical users, and balancing hands-on support with planning, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Essential experience and qualifications include:
Demonstrated experience providing Level 1 and Level 2 ICT support
Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments
Experience supporting PCs/laptops (HP preferred) and mobile devices
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users
Proven ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
Ability to travel as required
National Police Check
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Desirable experience and qualifications include:
Certificate III (or higher) in Information Technology or similar
Microsoft Certification or training
Current C Class Driver’s Licence
Experience working with Nyiyaparli and/or Aboriginal people
Nyiyaparli people and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
